FRIDAY
8 am-1 am & 2-5 pm Amana Colonies Bakery & Café
Cookie decorating.
9 am – 4 pm Amana Woolen Mill
Blanket weaving & embroidery demonstrations
11 am Chocolate Haus
Chocolate dipped strawberries demonstration. A great taste of spring!
All day Heritage Designs, Quilting & Needlework
We are proud to present the quilt exhibit “Playing With Blocks”. Stop by the shop to pick up a ballot. Then stroll next door to the Amana Visitors Center to view the work of a talented group of woman who were each given the same collection of challenging patterns and then independently designed and created a quilt using the fabrics of their choice. Vote for your favorite.

Art Night in the Amana Colonies
Explore behind-the-scenes as Amana Colonies’ artisans open their galleries, workshops & studios for this relaxed, self-guided evening tour. Tour information available at the Visitor Center.

Blanket weaving, The Grahams handcarding and spinning & free self guided mill tours. 11am – 3 pm Embroidery demonstration 10am – 4pm Handweaving by Nancy Adams 11am- 4pm Kid’s activity-Craft your own sheep. Cost $6. Enjoy complimentary coffee & cookies all day.
10am – noon Amana General Store
Book Signing. Meet Judith Miller bestselling author of “Somewhere To Belong.” First novel in the Daughters of Amana series. 9am – 2pm Coloring contest. Ages 12 and under.
10:30 am – 2 pm Taste of the Amana Colonies & A Touch of Europe at the Festhalle Barn
Taste a sample or enjoy a feast of Amana Colony favorites and the best of Europe - all from right here in Iowa! Enjoy a diversity of ethnic cultural food all under one roof. Food tickets may be purchased at Festhalle Barn entrance: $1 per ticket.
11 – 2pm Kinderplatz
Kids activities and crafts, baby animals. Located at the Market Barn behind Lehm Books!

10 am Millstream Brewery
Our limited 25th Anniversary Dopple Bock beer will be released this weekend! YUM!! 11am Clear Creek Amana High School Jazz Band performs after the parade. Brats & hot dogs available all day. 1 pm-5pm Enjoy Polka music with The Barry Boyce Band in our outdoor Biergarten. In case of inclement weather, festivities move inside.
11 am, 1 pm & 3 pm Amana Furniture & Clock Shop
Workshop guided tours. Sign up for the tour at the Furniture Shop as the number on the tour is limited.

Enjoy Becky & The Ivanhoe Dutchman on our front lawn. 5pm – 8 pm Silver Wings a great local band!
6 pm Homestead Journey
On this progressive dinner travel around Homestead to the Amana Heritage Sites and hear stories of old Amana while enjoying delicious locally grown food. Seating is limited, reservations are required. $45 per person.
7:30 pm – 11pm Spring Dance with Coupe DeVille at the Festhalle Barn
Dance the night away to your favorite 50’s & 60’s tunes while helping to support the Amana Colonies Recreation Trail. Advance tickets available at the Visitor’s Center for $7 each; admission $8 per person at the door.
